Amadeus - May 2nd, 2009

AMADEUS: 1984/Col/160 mins

Based on Peter Shaffers play, this 8 Oscar winning film, is considered one of the finest scripts ever written. The life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is seen through the rival Salieri's eyes that makes for a dramatic style that is unique in this film. Directed by Milos Forman. Fabulous music and acting!! Its a nearly three hour film so we are likely to have a short interval.

On popular demand we have shifted it to the first Saturday of the month with a potluck dinner over which we can discuss and appreciate the film. Please bring your favourite dish (finger food preferred) for about 4 people and we will all share it. Non-vegetarians can bring non-veg and vegetarians can bring veg. Your drink of choice for yourself only. Since it is a long film, we will start sharp at 7, so please arrive 10 mins early to settle down. Since the screening is outdoors, please bring your own mosquito protection of choice :-)
